PURPOSE:To enhance aperture rate and space rate in order to improve discharge character by using the separator of netty synthetic resin where warp crosses with woof cubicly, while allowing the warp to touch a positive electrode and woof, to touch a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:The warp 1 and woof 2 composed of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, etc. is cubicly crossed in order to form the separator being below 5mm. in thickness of a net, 0.5-3mm. in thickness of the warp 1, 0.3-2mm. in thickness of the woof 2 and 2-20mm. in size of the mesh of the net. Then an alkaline battery is formed by assembling the separator as the warp 1 touches a positive electrode and the woof 2, negative electrode. Therefore, it is possible to enhance the aperture rate and space rate as a separator, to make electric resistance small and to make generated gas escape easily, regulating in achievement of high rate discharge character of a battery. |
