PURPOSE:To display with digital format, by counting and displaying the transmission and reception state of a line signal, based on the designated line and designated characters, in a communication controller controlling a plurality of lines. CONSTITUTION:When characters designated with desired lines are desired to be counted, if the desired line number and the desired characters are set at an operation circuit 15, a line number signal D and a reception character signal B are designated at a character and line discrimination circuit 10, and if they are coincided, the result is inputted to an AND circuit 18, the number of desired characters is outputted on the desired line and counted at a count circuit 13 and displayed on a display circuit 16. Thus, the signal transfer state over the entire line of the line system and the state of signal transmission/reception of the desired line can be displayed in digital format. |
