TRANSFER TIME MEASURING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To measure net information transfer time in an information processing device without adding a device for measurement and the like in an information transfer device on the transmitting side by adding received time and information on the measurement and control of transfer time to transfer information. CONSTITUTION:Tranfer time measurement and control information 8 and the receiving time 9 of the packet information are added to a packet information 7 that is transferred from a communication circuit 1-1 to a communication circuit 2-1 at a subsystem 1' on the transmitting side, and they are sent out. If a sub- system 2' on the receiving side detects the transfer time measurement and control information 8 that is added to the packet information 7, a net transfer time 12 between the subsystem 1' and 2' can be measured from the time 10 on which the packet 7 was sent to the communication circuit 2-1 and the time 9 on which it was received.
