PURPOSE:To supply an address signal even to a storage element which has a difective cell as if a complete storage element were used, by attaining access like complete one without changing an external address signal even if the storage element has a defective cell. CONSTITUTION:A storage element consisting of storage areas each composed of storage cells and an auxiliary storage area composed of complete storage cells is provided with a logical circuit array PLA which has an AND array A-A and an OR array O-A, and an address switch part ADS. An address is supplied externally to the logical circuit array PLA and the AND array A-A judges whether the address corresponds to a storage area which has a defective cell registered in the array. |
