PURPOSE:To duplicate the captioned recording carrier by a method wherein a liquid-phase resin which cures when subjected to radiant light is sprayed under pressure under a specific condition so that the involvement of air bubbles into the resultant resin layer is prevented. CONSTITUTION:A backing carrier 4 is held in opposite relationship with an information recording carrier duplicating die 1 leaving therebetween a gap 8 which is greater in thickness than a predetermined informatin copying layer and the die 1 has convex and concave sections corresponding to recorded information. With the above arrangement, the liquid-phase molding resin, which cures when subjected to radient light, is injected into the gap 8. In this case, the lowering speed of a pressure member 9 for pressing the backing carrier 4 against the die 1 is so determined that the maximum spreading speed of the pressure spray of the resin becomes less than 10cm/sec (for example, the lowering speed of the pressure member may be less than several mm./sec when the vicosity of the resin 19 is around 1,000CP) and after spraying, the resin 19 is cured. Further, the pressing member 9 is moved at high speed except during the lowering motions thereof in the process of the press-coating spray of the resin. |
