PURPOSE:To prevent rear wheels from being locked, by actuating a spring force reducing mechanism with the use of a solenoid which actuates in association with the occurrence of rear wheel locking, so that the ratio of distribution is made to be idealized. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 26 is actuated by a signal from an anti-skid control circuit, when vehicle deceleration exceeds a predetermined value. Valves 30, 36 are closed when an armature 29 moves to the right, so that a sealed liquid chamber C is sealingly closed for setting a spring bias force. The solenoid 26 is further more energized when rear wheels are locked, and therefore, a balance piston 31 is also pulled to the right so that the valves 32, 33 are opened. A pressure reducing chamber (d) is communicated with an outlet liquid chamber (b) through the valves 32, 33, thereby a pressure reducing piston 23 moves to the right. The volume of the pressure reducing chamber (d) increases together with the movement of the pressure reducing piston 23 so that the spring bias force is increased. Since a solenoid valve makes the control of rear wheel brake force, the ratio of distribution may be idealized. |
