PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to an ignition noise by inserting a pulselike noise limiting circuit between an FM detecting circuit and a stereophonic demodulating circuit. CONSTITUTION:Between an FM detecting circuit 6, and a stereophonic demodulating circuit and a power amplifying cirucit 7 constituting an FM receiver 17', a pulselike noise limiting cirucit 16 is inserted and part of its output is led to a high-pass filter 10 in a diversity reception controlling part 18 through a terminal 9'. The insertion of the limiting cirucit 16 eliminates a pulselike noise contained in a demodulation output owing to an ignition noise, so the demodulation output free of the pulse noise due to the ignition appears at an output terminal 9'. Therefore, no ignition noise is detected in the output of the high- pass filter 10 and a diversity reception controlling part 18 never malfunctions. |
