<p>A power drive for providing from a single speed range input drive motor a dual speed range output and a braking function. The selective control of the output shaft is effected through the use of a brake and a clutch under the control of pistons and a biasing spring. The mechanism provides the desired control by suitable application of fluid pressure to associated piston chambers thereby effecting different operating conditions and connections of the gearing of the drive.</p> |
