PURPOSE:To prevent the inclusion of oxidized slag into a lining layer by shutting off a lining space part and a well part for molten bearing alloy by means of a flexible wall, filling the clean molten metal into the lining space by displacing this wall in the stage of pressurizing the molten metal and maintaining the interfacial pressure until the molten metal completes solidifying. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical bearing stand metal 1 is placed perpendicularly on a support table 2, and a sleeve 4 which forms a clearance for a lining layer is inserted concentrically into the bore of the metal 1. A flexible annular shut-off wall 3 is provided to th bottom end face of said sleeve 4 and is put in tight contact with the table 2. The molten metal 5 charged into this sleeve 4 stays in the sleeve 4 without flowing out into the space part on account of the presence of the wall 3. When the molten metal surface is pressurized with a punch 6, the molten metal in the lower layers contg. no oxidized slag is filled successively into the lining space by overcoming the shielding of the wall 3. |
