The evaporator-pressure regulator converts liquid fuel such as liquefied petroleum gas into gas for consumption by an internal-combustion engine, having a venturi connected to an outlet passage, and a diaphragm chamber whose diaphragm controls a pressure-regulating valve. The venturi is in a tube (42) mounted in a gas feed chamber (46) the tube forming at the top end on the outside part of an outlet (50) from this chamber, while the part of the tube downstream of the venturi is openly connected to the chamber.
