PURPOSE:To copy an arbitrary part of an original on an arbitrary part of paper by irradiating only the arbitrary part of the original and exposing the reflected light thereof to the arbitrary part of a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:An original placing plate 2 is provided to a copying machine, and an illuminating mechanism 3 is provided freely movable back and forth below the plate 2. A mask consisting of a sheet that does not permit transmission of light is provided on the bottom surface of the plate 2 freely movably in and out from four ways. Hence, it is possible to irradiate only the arbitrary part of the original. A portion of the original image irradiated in this way is irradiated via a lens 4 and a mirror 5 to a photoreceptor 6, by which it is made into an electrostatic latent image. Since the mirror 5 is oscillated by a motor 15, said image can be exposed to the arbitrary part of the photoreceptor 6. In this way, the arbitrary part of the original is copied to the arbitrary part of the paper. |
