PURPOSE:To extract the maximum power as silent discharge power from a power supply by connecting a reactor in series with an electrode and making the reactor resonate in series. CONSTITUTION:The reactor 14 is connected in series with the electrodes 2A, 2B. When the value of the reactor 14 is selected so that the series circuit of the reactor 14 and each electrostatic capacity 11A, 11B is made resonate in series with the output frequency of the power supply 1, the series impedance of the reactor 14 and the electrostatic capacity 11A, 11B reaches zero, the output voltage of the power supply 1 is all changed into silent discharge voltage, and the maximum power is projected to silent discharge from the power supply 1. |
