PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of an inverter by energizing an inverter main circuit from a power-off time power supplying circuit to the inverter main circuit at the time of interrupting an input, thereby holding the AC output within the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:An inverter is constructed in a structure that a power-off time power supplying circuit 10 is belonged to an inverter main circuit 5. When the AC input is interrupted, the smoothing capacitor of the DC smoothig circuit 3 of the circuit 5 starts discharging, and the DC output is lowered. The voltage detector 14 of the circuit 10 detects it, the detector 14 produces a control signal to a controller 15 when it reaches the minimum voltage value capable of maintaining the AC output voltage of the inverter at the prescribed value, and a constant current is supplied to the DC smoothing circuit 3 of the circuit 5 via the charging and discharging capacity of the circuit 13 via the control element of the controller 15. |
