Technologies are generally described for customization of a list of properties associated with media files based at least in part on user's preferences. In some examples, a method may include receiving, by a server, a plurality of user inputs that respectively identify the user's designated favorites from among a plurality of media files; determining, by the server, the user's preferences from among a plurality of properties associated with the user's designated favorites from among the plurality of media files, based at least in part on the received user inputs; and providing, by the server, the user with a list of the plurality of properties based at least in part on the user's preferences from among the plurality of properties.

1. A method to provide a customized list of selectable properties associated with media files, comprising:
determining, by a server, a user's preferences from among a plurality of properties associated with the user's favored media files, wherein the determining includes:
identifying the user's favored media files from among a plurality of media files posted on a social networking service (SNS) based on the user's inputs that respectively indicates media files being favored by the user via the SNS,identifying the plurality of properties applied to the user's favored media files,counting a usage frequency of each of the plurality of properties applied to the user's favored media files, andprioritizing the plurality of properties applied to the user's favored media files based on the usage frequency for each of the plurality of properties; receiving, by the server, from an electronic device, an indication of a user's activation of a media file creation or sharing application; and providing, by the server, to the electronic device, a customized list of selectable properties for the user based at least in part on the user's preferences from among the plurality of properties, the selectable properties in the customized list being presented as prioritized.
