PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of the packed weight of an article consisting of unit articles having different weights, with each other, by a method wherein unit articles are loosely packed into a container and weighed, and combination calculation is carried out with the loosely packed weight measuring signal included in weighing signals at all times, and according to the results, unit articles are supplied from a tightly packing-weighing device. CONSTITUTION:Unit articles are loosely packed into a container 4 from a loosely packing hopper 8. The container 4 is carried by a weighing conveyor 10 to the position under a concentrated hopper 12 and weighed. On the other hand, above the hopper 12, tightly packing-weighing tanks 13 to 16 are provided to weigh unit articles having different weights with each other. A loosely packed weight is detected, and weighing signals from the respective tightly packing- weighing tanks are variously combined. A combination having a value equal or closest to a lower-limit weight is selected from the combinations obtained by adding the loosely packed weight measuring signal to the respective combined weighing signals. The container 4 is tightly packed with unit articles from the tightly packing-weighing tank related to the combination, thereby controlling the packed weight of the unit articles into the container 4 at a high accuracy. |
