A method and device for adjusting a focusing area. The method comprises: acquiring field depth information that a current focusing area corresponds to; adjusting the dimension of the focusing area according to the acquired field depth information; and using the dimension-adjusted focusing area as the current focusing area. According to the above-mentioned technical solution, the focusing area is adjusted through the acquired field depth information, thereby realizing the adjustment of the dimension of the focusing area through the acquired field depth information, and corresponding adjustment of the dimension of the focusing area with the change of the field depth information, rather than the adjustment of the dimension of the focusing area by means of manual adjustment, and thus improving the accuracy of the focusing area adjustment. |
