<p>PURPOSE:To correct the orientation of an object to be transported without disturbing the following stage by constituting a transport unit with two conveyers which are placed in series and linked with each other, and by placing an entrance roller of the trailing conveyer a little higher than an exit roller of the leading conveyer. CONSTITUTION:The unit consists of two conveyers which are placed in series and linked with each other, and an entrance roller 3' of a trailing conveyer 2 is placed a little higher than an exit roller 4 of a leading conveyer 1. In other words, when a slender board 6 is transported on a conveyer 1, one end A of the board 6 which has arrived earlier at the conveyer 2 cannot be transferred onto the conveyer 2, with the friction force of one or two ropes 5 due to a step between the two conveyers. It can be transferred on the conveyer 2 only after the late-arriving end B reaches the conveyer 2 and the front edge of the board 6 is adjusted to be parallel with a roller 3'. Accordingly, the transport direction of the board 6 is adjusted in advance so that no trouble occurs in the following stage, in which, for example, the board is automatically stored in a cassette.</p> |
