PURPOSE:To decrease pressure loss in a condenser, by making a support pipe for feed-water heater unnecessary, by installing a baffle-plate in the center part of the condenser as a reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:The steam which flows along the side wall is prevented from being branched off by guide plates 13 which are installed between feed-water heaters 1a and 1b, along their longitudinal directions, so that the flow of steam along the side wall can be maintained. In addition, the guide plates 13 can also serve as reinforcement members to feed-water heaters, so that support pipes for feed-water heaters which were conventionally disposed in the path of steam flowing along the side wall at high velocity can be eliminated, as a result, pressure loss in the condenser can be decreased. |
