The tire curing press(10) with improved energy efficiency consists of an upper mould(18), a lower mould(12), an upper heating platen(20) pressing the upper mould(18), a lower heating platen(14) supporting the lower mould and a bolster(22) supporting the upper heating platen(20). Insulation boards(38) are positioned between the bolter & the upper heating platen and also between the press base(16) & the lower heating platen so that the tire curing press may be improved in heat efficiency for curing the rubber tire.
