PURPOSE:To perform smooth and stable operation with simple and durable constitution when a position and presence of a conveyed object of long scale steel materials or the like are detected, by constituting a device such that the conveyed object detecting means are provided in both sides of a conveyed object supporting member to generate an alarm when one of the detecting means is inoperative. CONSTITUTION:A cast piece 9 is moved from a truck 10 to a movable beam 3 in a furnace 1. Here a contactor 18 of a sensor 8 is contacted to the piece 9 to form an earth circuit through the element 9. In a relation between the piece 9 and the contacting sensor 8, for instance, in the drawing (A), the piece 9 is dropped onto the beam 3 with a normal position. Similarly in the drawing (B), the truck 10 is moved backward in a state of holding the piece 9, after adjustment of the position, again the piece 9 is moved onto the beam 3. This operation is repeated until the normal position is obtained. In this way, constitution can be simplified with strength to perform smooth and stable operation. |
