PURPOSE:To obtain a comparatively high ratio of acceleration by the titled device which is small-sized and light in weight by a method wherein a second reverse screw rod is connected to a first screw rod along the same axis and a nut provided with an inertia member is screw-fitted about the second screw rod. CONSTITUTION:The first screw rod 3 has its one end supported rotatably within an auxiliary cylinder 2 with the other end inserted into a main cylinder 1 through a first nut 4. The second screw rod 5 is made integral with the first screw rod 3 in the longitudinal direction along the same axis and is threaded reversely to the first screw rod 3. Further, the second screw rod 5 is screw-fitted with the second ball nut 6 provided with the inertia member 7 at the intermediate at the intermediate part thereof. When the main cylinder 1 and the auxiliary cylinder 2 are moved relative to each other by one pitch of the screw of the first screw rod 3, the first screw rod 3 and the second screw rod 5 rotate once and the second nut 6 is given a torque corresponding to one rotation of the screw rods 3 and 5 plus the rotation due to the pitch ratio of the screw so that it is made possible to obtain a comparatively high ratio of acceleration. |
