<p>PURPOSE:To realize automatic and highly efficient performance of three-dimensional warehousing and delivery by running a traveler around a multistage and multiple-row mobile shelves through an overhead rail and have articles received or delivered between the traveler and a transshipping machine which elevates, lowers and makes horizontal movement at positions of warehousing and delivery. CONSTITUTION:When the code of an article to be delivered from a warehouse is inputted by means of an operational board 52, a self-propelled car 3 is moved and stopped at a standby section according to a predetermined program, then a servomotor 403 corresponding to a rotary multiple-row and multistage shelf 21 related to articles to be delivered is driven, and a packing box receiving part 401 is positioned at the predetermined height. Subsequently, after placing a packing box 20, to be delivered, onto the receiving part 401, said part 401 is moved to an upper taking over position. Subsequently, the standby self-propelled car 3 is moved to a predetermined position and the receiving part 401 is lowered to a lower taking over position to transship the article to the self-propelled car 3, which travels to a transshipping machine 42 bound for the destination. Operation reverse to the abovementioned one is performed in case of warehousing. Three-dimentional warehousing and delivery are automatically performed with high efficiency by adopting this constitution.</p> |
