PURPOSE:To enable to securely perform the cutting of laminated band form components even to the last one by a method wherein an extruding block is held for free swing in the direction along the cutting surface. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that the number of lamination pieces of the lead frame 1 becomes small, e.g., to one. At this time, when the upper surface of the extruding block 30 and the cutting surface 18 are accurately opposed each other in parallel, the block 30 is pressed onto the cutting surface 18 over the entire region of the upper surface by uniform force by pinching the lead frame 1, and thus the cutting is enabled by contacting the lead frame close to the cutting surface 18 without swinging to the block 30. When the upper surface of the block 30 and the cutting surface 18 are not opposed each other in parallel and have some slippages to the direction of inclination each other, the extrusion of the block 30 to the cutting surface 18 by pinching the lead frame 1 enables to the block 30 to swing to the direction along the cutting surface 18 because of partial force applied to the upper surface of the block 30. Cutting can be performed in the close contact of the lead frame 1 on the cutting surface 18 by this swinging. |
