PURPOSE:To form a composite rod having uniform quality in longitudinal direction at a high yield by supplying continuously a linear body as a core material into a non-ferrous metallic pipe being extruded through a hollow mandrel. CONSTITUTION:Molten non-ferrous metal 4 is supplied to a pipe extruding part consisting of a hollow mandrel 1 and a die 2 and a pipe 5 is formed. While extruding the pipe 5, a linear body 6 is supplied continuously as a core material into the pipe 5 through the hollow part of the mandrel 1 and a composite wire rod is formed. Al, Cu etc. are used as non-ferrous metal, and Ca, Mg, Al, CuCl2, Ca Si, rare earth elements are used as core material. Plural kinds of linear materials 6 are supplied simultaneously as core material. |
