PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of heating control by a method wherein the outputs of an infrared sensor before and after the lighting of an interior lamp at the start of cooking and, if the influence of the interior lamp is perceived, the heat is performed without the interior lamp being lit in the cooker equipped with the infrared sensor. CONSTITUTION:A main control unit 17 starts to drive a motor 15 so as to rotate a chopper 14 in order to detect the temperature of a foodstuff 2. A signal level is checked by obtaining the outputs Vot detected by the sensor from a signal processing circuit 16 for a certain fixed period of time. After the elapse of said period of time, a relay 11 is turned on in order to light the interior lamp 10. After that, the change of the sensor output level Vot inputted from the signal processing circuit 16 is checked by the main control unit 17 in order to judge the presence and absence of the influence of the lighting of the interior lamp 10. When the increase of the output level V to occurs, the relay 11 is turned off in order to go off the interior lamp 10 and the going-off of the interior lamp is announced. Then, after the elapse of a certain fixed period of time, heating is started. In such a manner as described above, the influence of the interior lamp is eliminated and the heating control is performed accurately. |
