PURPOSE:To integrally constitute an exhaust economizer and an exhaust-sound arrester in a compact form by arranging a heat exchanger equipped with a pipe inside part as exhaust passage and a pipe outside part as heating medium passage and using the part between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder as exhaust-sound arrester which commuicates to the exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION:Side covers 1 and 9 are installed onto the both edge parts of an exhaust economizer body 2 through a packing 8. The exhaust gas G discharged from an internal-combustion engine is introduced into a plurality of pipes 5 arranged through a partitioning plate 3 in the inner cylinder 2A of the body 2 from an inlet 1A formed on one side cover 1. That is, each inside of a plurality of pipes 5 is used as the passage for exhaust gas G, and the outside of the pipe 5 is used as passage for water W, and a heat exchanger between exhaust gas G and water W is constituted. Water W is introduced into the inner cylinder 2A along a partitioning plate 6 from an inlet 2C formed on the body 2 and goes-out from an outlet 2D. The exhaust gas G is turned back by the side cover 9 and passes through a space 2E formed between the inner cylinder 2A and the outer cylinder 2B, attenuating exhaust noise, and is discharged from an outlet 1B. |
