PURPOSE:To enable to control the speed of a DC motor by following up the variation in an external analog or digital signal by providing an analog-to- digital converter in a control circuit for the motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor control circuit 13 controls a DC motor 1 for driving a pulley 22 which winds a wire 16 in response to the deviation between a speed command and a speed signal from an encoder pulse converter 6. A tension/ electric amount converter 21 outputs a voltage signal inversely proportional to the tension applied to the wire 16. A voltage/frequency converter 15 applies a frequency pulse in reponse to the input voltage signal to a frequency counter circuit 14. The counted value of the circuit 14 becomes a speed command of the circuit 13. In this manner, the speed of a drive system can be readily altered. |
