PURPOSE:To decrease power consumption by one power source, by providing the first element group which is driven by the first operating voltage, the second element group which is driven by the second operating voltage that is lower than the first operating voltage, and a constant voltage source which steps down the first operating voltage to the second operating voltage. CONSTITUTION:A power source voltage VDD is used. A voltage generating circuit 4 is constant voltage circuit and arranged in the inside, and power to be supplied to an internal circuit 2 is converted to a lower voltage VCC. An input- level converting circuit 1 and an output-level converting circuit 3 have a part driven by an operating voltage VDD-VSS and a part driven by an operating voltage VCC-VSS. The internal circuit 2 comprises only a part driven by the operating voltage VCC-VSS. The circuit 1 converts the amplitude of an input signal IN into a level for the internal circuit 2, i.e., from a level suitable for the operating voltage VDD-VSS to a level suitable for the operating voltage VCC-VSS. The circuit 3 converts the amplitude of the output voltage to a level for other integrated circuits, i.e., from a level suitable for the operating level VCC-VSS to a level suitable for the operating voltage VDD-VSS. |
