PURPOSE:To produce electric energy efficiently from a fuel cell by dividing with discharge currents a discharge current-battery voltage curve prepared for each set of parameters consisting of control factors so that set levels of the factors correspond to each divided area. CONSTITUTION:A control device works to maintain fuel temperature at within a given range, to maintain fuel ceocentration at within a given range and to maintain electrolyte concentration at within a given range. The control ranges are set by a command display device. After a discharge current-battery voltage curve for each set of parameters consisting of fuel or oxidant concentration and fuel temperature is prepared, the curves are divided with discharge currents. Accordingly, preset fuel or oxidant concentration and cell temperature can be produced by referring to the above obtained graph in which a given range of the parameter set corresponds to one or some areas each surrounded by the curves and the division lines. |
