PURPOSE:To reduce the necessary mechanical space and increase transportation amount and improve durability by arranging a cam follower and a cam so that a scraper is brought-down after passing a discharge-side sprocket and is erected in the turning-on side sprocket part, in a chip conveyor. CONSTITUTION:When a scraper 8 reaches directly over a driving sprocket wheel 2 on a discharge-port side, the extension part 30 of the scraper 8 is engaged with a cam 27, and the scraper 8 turns counterclockwise around a pin 20 as a chain 7 advances, and the scraper 8 is directed in the direction of laying of the chain in the D part of the cam 27, and is inserted between a scraper guide 29 and a casing 1 side plate, and shifts along the guide 29. On the other sprocket wheel 3 side, the scraper 8 turns around the pin 20 through the engagement between a cam follower and the cam, and the scraper 8 is erected. With such constitution, the necessary space is reduced, and the transportation capacity can be increased. |
