PURPOSE:To make it easy to replace a film on a carrying drum peripheral surface by making a light source unit movalbe in the longitudinal direction on the carrying drum peripheral surface and preventing exposure of the film when the film is replaced while lighting the light source. CONSTITUTION:During normal exposure and development works, a light source unit 4 is placed in a prescribed position on the peripheral surface of a carrying drum 3 to perform exposure. In the preparatory stage where a master film 15 and an unexposed film 16 are led out from supply rolls 1 and 2 and are wound around the peripheral surface of the carrying drum 3 before normal works or at the time when only the master film 15 is replaced while leaving the unexposed film 16 as it is, the light source unit 4 is moved backward from the prescribed position to a rear position along a projecting stripe 21a on a supporting base 21 and is held in this rear position while lighting a light source 20 as it is.
