PURPOSE:To secure the superior visual field for metering instruments by covering the periphery of an impact-energy absorbing body installed onto a boss plate by a cover pad and the extension part of lore covers. CONSTITUTION:A ring part 1 and a spoke part 2 are molded integrally from soft foamed synthetic resin, having a core metal as insert, and a cover pad 8 made of soft foamed synthetic resin is installed so as to cover the upper part of a wheel pad part 7 including an impact-energy absorbing body 6 on a boss plate 5. The energy absorbing body 6 on the under-side of the cover pad 8 is covered with two divided upper lower cover 9 and a lower lower cover 10. The position of the wheel pad part 7 is lowered with respect to the ring part, and the upper lower cover 9 is extended to the upper, in order to cover the periphery of the impact-energy absorbing body 6. Therefore, the wheel pad part 7 does not protrude, and the superior visual field for metering instruments can be secured. |
