DYNAMIC VIBRATION REDUCER FOR LONGITUDINAL VIBRATION OF CRANKSHAFT

PURPOSE:To absorb vibration itself of a crankshaft by fixing a dynamic vibration reducer for absorbing longitudinal vibration to the end portion of the crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical support frame 2 for guiding a weight (m) axially is fixed to the end portion of a crankshaft 1. The weight (m) is disposed in the interior of the support frame 2 through balls in such a manner as to slide with respect to the support frame 2 non-rotationally. The weight (m) is connected to the end portion of the crankshaft 1 through a spring K. The longitudinal vibration of the crankshaft 1 can be absorbed by setting the mass of the weight (m) and the effective spring constant of the spring K.
