PURPOSE:To set selectively an inversion mode by providing a mode control means for holding the inversion mode at the time of an original return mode, too, if the device is in the inversion mode already preceding this original return mode, in case when the original return mode has been set. CONSTITUTION:An electronic copying machine is provided with an inversion mode storage means for storing a fact that an inversion mode has been set, an original return mode setting means for setting a device to an original return mode by which a copying paper feeds a jammed original by a manual original feeding device, in case when the copying paper of the original fed from an automatic original feeding device has been jammed, and a mode control means. In this way, in case when the original return mode has been set, if the device is in the inversion mode preceding this original return mode, the inversion mode can be held at the time of the original return mode, too, and also, in case when the copying paper is jammed and the original return mode has been set, the inversion mode can be held, if the device is in the inversion mode. |
