PURPOSE:To improve permeability by reducing fine non-metallic inclusions in 'PD Permalloy(R)'. CONSTITUTION:In 'PD Permalloy(R)', the influence of non-metallic inclusions upon permeability varies with the sizes of the inclusions, and it is the non-metallic inclusions with <=1mu average diameter that greatly deteriorates the permeability. Therefore, the number of the non-metallic inclusions with <=1mu average diameter at a section of 'PD Permalloy(R)' magnetic material is limited to <=1X10<4> pieces per 1cm<2>. |
