<p>A system for transmitting information contained in the form of bits. An encoded signal of two levels of magnitude is generated so that for each data word in the signal, the duration of the encoded signal at one level is equal to the duration of the encoded signal at the second level. The encoded signal is then used to generate a slope signal. It is this slope signal which is transmitted.</p> |
