PURPOSE:To manufacture a slab for making of hot-rolled steel plate for working causing no blister at galvanizing by limiting oxygen content in molten steel to a specific range and also limiting the value of [%C]X[%O] to a specific one or below so as to inhibit the occurrence of blowholes at the slab surface. CONSTITUTION:In a steelmaking stage, the molten steel containing <=0.015% C and 0.05-2% Mn and satisfying [%Mn]>10[%S] is refined, which is subjected to regulation of deoxidation by the use of deoxidizing agents so that oxygen content in the molten steel is 0.01-0.08% and the value of [%C]X[%O] is 150X10<-6> or below, followed by continuous casting. |
