PURPOSE:To enable any trouble to be detected in a simple manner by configurating a device in such a manner that each of ground clearance values detected by the plural number of ground clearance detectors is compared with each other, and the judgement that a ground clearance detecting means is out of order, will be made when the compared value is found to exceed the specified value which is considered to be normal for a normal running condition. CONSTITUTION:In a device as referred to the titled, a group of levelling valves 408 is controlled by a control section 404 through an actuator drive section 406 so as to allow the ground clearance detected by a group of ground clearance sensors 400 to correspond with the set value for the ground clearance where each of those sensors is provided for each of four wheels to detect the height of a body against the axle. With this, the ground clearance is adjusted by a step of feeding and/or discharging a pressure fluid from a pumping means to and/or from each cylinder of shock absorbers. In this case, each of ground clearance values computed by a ground clearance arithmetic unit 402 is compared by a ground clearance comparator section 414 so as to transmit the compared value to the control section 404. And when the compared value is found to exceed the specified value which is considered to be normal for a normal running condition, the judgement that the ground clearance sensor is out of order, will be made. |
