摘要 PURPOSE:To make the stop position of a carriage accurate with respect to repetitive accuracy in both directions by converting the drive of a stepping motor into rectilinear motion to move the carriage thereby facilitating assembling. CONSTITUTION:A lead screw coupled directly is driven by the drive of the stepping motor 17. A slot 161 is driven by the drive of the lead screw 16 and a ball bearing 15 arranged on the slot 161 is moved while being traced to the slot 161. In this case, the ball bearing 15 keeps the relative position to the lead screw 16 by a plate spring 19. Thus, the bearing is not moved in the rotation direction of the lead screw but moved in the axial direction only. That is, the ball bearing 15 is moved in the axial direction of the lead screw 16 by the drive of the lead screw 16 along the slot 161 and moves straight forward. Then the rotation drive of the stepping motor 17 is converted into the rectilinear motion and the plate spring 19 is moved on the lead screw 16.
