PURPOSE:To obtain a small and lightweight cell by subjecting a photosensitive film formed on cathode and anode foil sheets to optical hardening with light which has passed a negative or positive film over which a multitude of fine patterns are formed, and then developing it. CONSTITUTION:A cathode foil 1 which has a light-irradiated photosensitive film is developed for 2 minutes using a mixture of 85 parts of N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone and 15 parts of methanol as a developer, while using ultrasonic wave at the same time. Then the developer is rinsed out by immersing the foil in methanol solution for 10 seconds to remove the part of the photosensitive film not optically-hardened, in order to form a multitude of fine projections 6. Lastly, it is dried in the atmosphere of ordinary temperature and then left to stand at a temperature of 180 deg.C for 30 minutes to make cathode foil 1 on one surface of which are formed a multitude of fine projections 6, 2mum in height. This cathode foil 1 and an anode foil 7 are laminated so that a multitude of fine projections 6 exist between them, and are impregnated with a cell electrolytic solution 8 made by dissolving lithium parchlorate into propylene carbonate, then housed in a casing 9 to make a cell. By this constitution, a small and lightweight cell of good characteristic can be obtained. |
