PURPOSE:To provide the title varnish which gives a resin-impregnated substrate which does not exhibit a foaming phenomenon, containing an epoxy resin and a glycol compd. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin (e.g., a bisphenol A type epoxy resin) is blended with at least one glycol compd. (e.g., propylene glycol monomethyl ether) and optionally a curing agent, a curing accelerator, a filler, a reinforcing agent, a colorant, etc.
