PURPOSE:To sufficiently lessen the spring constant in the small displacement area and also enlarge it in the area of the displacement larger than a specified amount by providing both ends of a rubber member with projections whose height is different from each other. CONSTITUTION:An elastic support mount 1 is composed of a metallic collar 4 and rubber member 5. A bracket fitting groove 8 is recessedly formed to the nearly central section of an outer periphery surface of the rubber member 5 covering all the periphery. Both ends of the rubber member 5 are radially and alternately formed with projections 11 relatively high and projections 12 relatively low in the axial direction of a bolt 2. Since only the projections 11 is, therefore, abutted to a flange section 7 and a support member 3 in the initial stage respectively, the projection 11 are readily compressed by a slight load. |
