A step ladder that is assembled with removably attachable components and an electronic component in one or more of the removably attachable components is disclosed herein. The removably attachable components of the step ladder include one ore risers, steps, railings and side panels. As one example, a riser may include a light fixture therein that is connected to a controller and a power source. The controller is configured to control aspects of the light fixture, including when to turn tie light fixture on and off. A photoelectric sensor that detects light may also be implemented, which, in communication with the controller, turns on and off the light fixture based on whether or not light is detected. Other components of the step ladder may also include electronic components, including a light fixture, radio, speaker, blue tooth other wireless capabilities, etc. |
