METHOD FOR DECIDING DOCUMENT RANGE IN DOCUMENT EDITING PROCESSING

PURPOSE:To improve operability by designating automatically the end of a document range. CONSTITUTION:An operator operates a cursor shift key of a keyboard input device 11 to set a cursor at the head of a document range and then pushes a line feed key, for example. Thus a CPU 12 decides the pushing of the line feed key and searches a control symbol showing a forcible line feed key within a display memory 14 to move the cursor to the position of said control symbol. The decided document range is displayed on a CRT 15. In such a way, the CPU 12 retrieves automatically the end of a sentence range based on the control symbol after the head position of the document range is set by the cursor.
