PURPOSE:To enable a stable recording and reproduction by nearly equalizing the rigidity of flexible members of two sheets positioned facing the surfaces of a flexible disk within supporting plates. CONSTITUTION:A 1st carriage 4 movable in the direction of an arrow 12 of a discoid flexible disk 1, is mounted with a 1st magnetic head 5 via a 1st supporting plate 6, whereas facing this head 5, a 2nd carriage 8 supportedly movable with the 1st carriage 4, is mounted with a 2nd magnetic head 9 via a 2nd supporting plate 10. The supporting plate 6 is bent in its arm parts 6a-6d in the direction of an arrow 13 to be a stable condition with a slight bending. Each twist rigidity of tie-bars 6x and 6y of the supporting plate 6 is nearly equalized to each twist rigidity of tie-bars 10x and 10y of the supporting plate 10 respectively and each bending rigidity of the arm parts 6a-6d is nearly equalized to that of each of the arm parts 10a-10d of the supporting plate 10, so that the tie-bar parts and the arm parts are exactly the same in shape and also in plate thickness and material.
