PURPOSE:To narrow down a gap between a curtain driving lever and a shutter charging lever and to miniaturize a shutter unit by providing a brake mechanism for a shutter in the rotational track of the blade driving lever. CONSTITUTION:A leading curtain driving lever 9, the shutter charging lever 15, and a trailing curtain driving lever 10 are arranged in array and a rear brake 25 is provided in the rotational track of the lever 10. When the lever 10 is unlocked, the lever 10 rotates clockwise, a pin 10a abuts on the arm part 25a of a rear brake 25, and taper parts 26b and 26c are braked gradually by friction against leaf springs 26a-26c to decrease in speed. Therefore, there is no space required for the arrangement of the brake 25 between the levers 10 and 15, nearby arrangement is enabled, and the shutter unit is miniaturized.
