PURPOSE:To inexpensively form a lightweight valve sheet excellent in a wear resistance by cutting and forging an extrusion molded material inserted with an inner cylindrical member of Al alloy containing a reinforced fiber into an output cylindrical member of Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:In the inner cylindrical member 1 of Al alloy containing the reinforcing fiber such as a glass fiber or a short alumina fiber, etc. by 10-20vol.%, the outer cylindrical member 2 formed with a powder of Al alloy is inserted to compose a composite cylindrical member 3. This member 3 is extruded to form, joining the members 1, 2 by a plastic flow. Cutting this crosswise to form a blank forging material 3B to work this by a forge forming machine into the valve sheet 11. Therefore, in the simple stage, the lightweight upper valve sheet excellent in the wear resistance and settling resistance is formed at low cost.
