摘要 PURPOSE:To secure the heat radiating performance of a heat exchanger by a method wherein at one end, at least, of an inner fin of a heat exchanger for engine oil, etc., a part of which diameter is different from that of the other parts in the fin is formed by reducing the height of the fin row through pressing. CONSTITUTION:In an oil flow passage 28 between an outer cylinder 21 and an inner cylinder 22 of an oil cooler built in an automobile radiator, an inner fin 23 consisting of divided inner fins 23a-23c is inserted. At each fin 23a-23c fins 29 having recessed and projecting parts in a circumferential direction are arranged in zigzag shape and fin rows are so formed as to reduce their flow passage resistance along the flow of oil; however, both ends of each inner fin are pressed in a taper shape and the end parts 31 of the fins 23a, 23c are pressed and deformed from the inner diameter side to the outer diameter side and the end parts of the fin 23b are pressed and deformed inversely and the flow resistance in the end parts is increased to generate turbulent flow and secure heat radiating performance. Though the structure of the exchanger is easy to process, the radiating performance and fluid flow can be secured at a fixed level.
