PURPOSE:To give no adverse effect to other cells without replacing a cell having the deteriorated performance by utilizing measuring terminals stretched from peripheries of individual separators to bypass the current between cells above and below the cell concerned. CONSTITUTION:Both faces of an electrolyte plate 1 are pinched by both cathode 2 and anode 3 electrodes, the oxidation gas OG is fed to the cathode 2 side, the fuel gas FG is fed to the anode 3 side to form one cell, many cells (several hundreds) are laminated via separators 4, measuring terminal plates 5 provided at end sections of individual separators 4 are connected to each other and short-circuited. For the short-circuiting method, a conductive member 6 is pinched between the upper and lower measuring terminal plates 5, and this member 6 is fixed to the measuring terminal plates 5 by welding. |
