A damper device wherein: an intermediate member 12 comprises first and second intermediate plate members 121, 122; and spring support sections 121s, 122s that guide first and second springs SP1, SP2 from the outer peripheral side along the first and second springs SP1, SP2 are provided in the first and second intermediate plate members 121, 122. The intermediate member 12 is movable in the peripheral direction as a result of the expansion and contraction of the first and second springs SP1, SP2 and, as a result, the sliding length caused by the expansion and contraction of the first and second springs SP1, SP2 can be shortened in comparison to when guiding the first and second springs SP1, SP2 from the outer peripheral side using an output member 15 or an input member 11, and energy loss (hysteresis) caused by sliding can be reduced. As a result, the vibration damping performance of the damper device can be improved.
